It is also a stage of life at which we achieve the greatest differentiation, older adults are all unique, and should be respected as individuals. The more we marginalize our elders, the more we rob them of the fulfilling respectable lives they deserve. I know that was not in any way your intent, but it is a stereotype that is constantly propagated in our society.
