Yeah I just saw that. London is playing hardball with the Redskins right now, which I don't think they (or anyone) anticipated.

A lot of time for this to get done still, but from Fletcher's perspective, the Redskins had years on years to give him security in exchange for a discount, and they wanted (justifiably) to make sure his body would hold up.
