Actually, he is playing hardball. He fired his agent because he wasn't getting the contract figures he's expecting (think Ray Lewis). Hate the break it to him, but if he's wanting a Ray Lewis type of contract, then somebody needs to drive him to the airport. Salary cap be damned. You don't pay a 36/37 year old aging LB that type of money.

In fact, I would LOVE to see him get any type of contract near that on the open market. Not happening.
