There are plenty of teams who can be in the mid to later rounds of the first that can choose a QB of the future. We don't have to constantly suck and pick in the top five for that.
I know it seems like some here think RG3 is a sure bet but I'm telling u history has shown one of these 2 won't be a true franchise qb

Sure, and we've all been stung before by this, but sometimes you never know if you don't try. I'm willing to try, just as much as I'm willing to give PM 2-3 years while keeping all our draft picks and continuing to build the team.

That was a very different beast. Draft picks weren't nearly as valued as FA and even with FA in 2004, we definitely missed on quite a few of them. Don't get me wrong, I'd love either RGIII or PM, but I'd be just as happy keeping our picks and continuing to build the franchise with younger, better players. No one is going to confuse Mark Brunell with Peyton Manning.

2004 was by far the exception, not the rule.

Let's hope it's not 02,03,06 or 07 all over again! Manning bros are only QBs taken in the first 2 picks to win the Super Bowl over the last 12 years.
