This story Redskins reach deals with two wide receivers, re-sign DE Adam Carriker - The Washington Post says "He accepted a five-year deal from the Redskins worth $42 million — $21.5 million of it guaranteed — according to people with knowledge of the situation."

If you assume a $21.5M signing bonus, his 2012 SB allocation would be $4.3M. Add in salary and/or roster bonus and his cap hit is over $5M at least.

This story Ex-Colts receiver Pierre Garcon agrees to 5-yr, $42.5M deal with Redskins - The Washington Post says "The contract includes $20.5 million in guaranteed money, with an $11 million signing bonus."

If you assume an $11M signing bonus, his 2012 SB allocation would be $2.2M. How do you get to $4.3M?
