You believe what you what you want to believe and justify it to yourself however you want.

To me your every post proves you long ago decided the presumption of innocence is inapplicable to Zimmerman.

You can thank the media for that. From the start, they've single handily have had a agenda with this case. It was great for ratings, and even got the great Al Sharpton and crew down to Florida to fight this injustice. You had the media editing the 911 call to make it sound like a racial issue, and they've ran with that MO the whole time.

These people in this thread made up their minds long before the trail ever started.

Of course, it's the media's fault. Sigh

Come on Smoot. The media plays a big part in how people react to things. When this first hit the scene there were clear agendas. Editing the tape to make it look like a racial killing. Portraying Martin as if he was some innocent kid just merely going to store for skittles and even reporting incorrect facts in the case. Should we blame the people that believe mass media? I guess that's a valid point too.

As much as I'm being kinda hypocrite keeping up with it now, I really wish in all court cases where the stakes are life (or stakes just as high like rape cases) there could be a ban on news coverage of trials. I agree there should be public scrutiny of trials, maybe have the proceedings kept private and show them on Court TV or equivalent after the trial.

Re: Trayvon Martin Case

Well look what we have here:

Report: George Zimmerman special prosecutor fires IT chief who raised discovery concerns - OrlandoSentinel.com

Quote:
  • That most likely lead prosecutor Berniede la Rionda had huge amounts of Trayvon Martin's cell phone data, probably already back in 2012, without telling the defence.
  • He was concerned that he might have criminal liability because the lead prosecutor appeared to be hiding from the defense exculpatory evidence.
  • That the lead prosecutor appeared to intentionally give Trayvon Martin's cell phone data to the defense in an unreadable format.
  • He was so concerned he sought legal advice and counsel.
  • That Zimmerman prosecutor Angela Corey's office policy regarding e-mail was not to put case names or ID information the the subject field, to intentionally make finding e-mails difficult and get around federal and state e-mail retention requirements.

Guy who testified the prosecutor withheld evidence has been fired. Go figure.

My sympathies, Chico. I was in the same situation before I got two people to delegate all my work to.

Re: Trayvon Martin Case

Really interested in how many "kids" and how many "teens" people see in the last pic I posted. I would actually call them all "kids" as a group, but would call the two older boys in the foreground "teens" rather than "kids" by themselves. Bet it would break down by sides taken in this case.
