EXACTLY! I just finished reading this thread and my first thought was, holy shit that was me? Did I act like that every post? lol. Hence why I feel old as hell now.

Also, side note. Is it just me or was this board a lot more loose and relaxed back in the day? I feel like tensions/attitudes are way higher nowadays than they were before.

It's funny how that happens. I've been apart of a few online communities and while they all start out relaxed and fun it turns into a private group of friends that don't want to deal with outsiders. Be nice to the new people or we will end up like the Coachella.com message board.

This is definitely true! Every message board that I have ever been a part of has eventually turned into a private group of friends verses the rest. Sometimes, I was part of the "private" group, other times not. It's kind of a distraction to new people and even long time members who are not lucky enough to be a part of the inside gang. Still, I don't think that is ever anyone's intentions when they offer a message board to the public, but often times it winds up that way.

the forum other forum i frequent is like that. it used to be a beehive of activity but now it consists of roughly a dozen debbie downers. they are so mean to anyone who posts, i don't get it at all. i basically just go there to clean up spam, sad

I'm not apart of the inside "gang" and I get it. Just go watch Monty Pythons "The Holey Grail", and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".

Back in the day all we had to worry about was Offiss and SBF. lol
