I think the fact that Indianapolis didn't bring RG3 in for another workout but is bringing in luck says it all.

It sure seems to. I know the Colts brass can just go to Baylor to work RG3 out if they wish, but if you're going to draft a guy it only makes sense to bring him into your house and introduce him to all your staff and make him feel comfortable.

It's like when you have friends over to the house for the first time and you give them the grand tour.

You don't do the house tour with friends do you? That is so weird and awkward I hate when people do that to me. It is like their personal episode of MTV cribs.

I feel the same. But I also find that friends typically WANT the tour for reasons I do not understand.

Anyhow, bringing Luck to Indy is likely more than just a house tour. It is day one of his on-the-job training as a Colt.

Oh yeah no doubt. I'm sure other Colts players will be on hand to run through plays with him, and heck he probably already has a playbook or a portion of it.

I would hope so. Since they didn't have any plans to bring in Robert Griffin, I'd say that Andrew Luck will be their choice on draft day. I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts didn't sign Luck to a huge contract before the draft.

I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 4 yrs $25M.

Remember that Cam got 4 yrs $22M.

Well what's the choice. The awkwardness of showing them around, or not showing them around leaving them to wonder why you're not giving them the awkward tour around the house?

It's a lose/lose basically.

Great! I just assumed no one wanted the tour. Now I probably have a group of friends that are like WTF where was the tour.

This weekend I am just running tours for everyone I know. I will even rent a little shuttle for the tour of the "grounds".

I have a bunch of friends that are all about 'the tour.' They are realtors, flippers, historic preservationists/rehabbers, investors, stereotypical gay men and just lowly homeowners like myself. Point is, they're all into real estate & the art of architecture & interior design, so the tour of any place is expected upon first visit.

Gotta know your audience, I have been on a few overindulgent tours. Always best to take a minimal approach if you don't know some of the people well, and if they want more they'll ask.

Do you think they might slip him a Playbook. Never mind answering noticed you kind of answered this question in a later post.
