Re: Another gun incident
Until further information is available, it looks as if Arrington did everything right here - - except he invited or allowed to be invited some antisocial misfits. He rented a place for a party and hired security people. When police were summoned, he said he was shutting it down not that the cops were hassling him. Hard to see how he did much wrong in that scenario. Obviously, the whole story is not out yet, but so far, Arrington looks good.
Guns and parties don't mix. Guns and alcohol and parties are a horrendous mixture. IF the wounded man were to die - and I certainly hope he doesn't - then the comparison to Ray Lewis is particularly apt. Arrington would have been the celebrity present at a celebration event where someone died even though neither Arrington nor Lewis did the killing. If anyone wants an avatar that is captioned "MEATHEAD", there are several photo possiblities that could provide the grist. Albert Connell would be a name to add to the list of folks whose likeness could work out here.

PSUSkinsFan:
I agree that Arrington ahs done nothing yet that approaches obstruction of justice and in that light he is far more admirable than Ray Lewis. But his being the "athlete" in the presence of an "accidental death" in the vicinity of some partying behavior is very comparable to the "Ray Lewis Event". I fully expect Arrington to come out of this with no meaningful charges against him. As host of the party, he could be responsible if some "under-21" folks were served booze, but I don't consider that kind of thing nearly as bad as a "gun incident".
