I'm one of those white people.

I hate it that black people find it offensive if whites use the word but it's not offensive if black people use it. The way I see it the "N" word itself is either offensive or it's not. It should not matter who says it. If it's not ok for a white person to say it then it should not be ok for a black person to say it. Thats how I feel.

But .... I'm not white people.... I'm "European American" or "White American".

On a side note... is it offensive if I call another white (oops) European American "Cracker"? Like...." What up Cracker"?

I wish we as white people would embrace "cracka" or "cracker." Because then we could have our own word that only we could say, and then use it as an excuse to get mad at other non-cracka's when they say it.

Well I would rather use one of the generic accepted terms for white people. Cracker, honky, whitey, gringo, etc. As long as we can use it freely with other white people.

I think these days the closest word out there that kinda sets off white people is "Redneck" and in all actuality there are some people who embrace the term. lol. So even that is not offensive.
