problem is it's the 3rd game. Most starters get maybe 1 or 2 series and then their out so the Rookies get a chance to shine. The 4th game is pretty much nothing but Rookies. The first two games we'll get to see what we got.

I thought the 3rd game of the preseason is the one where the starters get the most work.

It is...game #4 is the last-chance desperation attempts to make the team by the scrubs. Starters usually don't even suit up.

3rd game is always the big test, starters play at least a half.

The third game the starters usually stay in for the first half and if they are playing bad I have seen them go into the 3rd qtr.
