I bought a Joe Theismann the season he broke his leg, I then bought a Doug Williams after he won a SB and he lasted one season after that, followed by a few Ryp jerseys after his SB win only to last a couple after that. I rather have something representative of the organization rather than a player. I have bought player t-shirts, if they last a season you don't feel as bad scrapping a $20 t-shirt compared to a $200 jersey.

Well, he was a great player for a short time and very popular. He's never going to put on another uniform, and I just think it's a cool tribute to wear his number.
