We had a chance to draft a QB at our position in the draft last season. We could have had Blaine Gabbert or Christian Ponder.

Looks like the "brainless decision to go with Grossman and Beck" was actually the right decision. We're getting Griffin. Last year's suffering was worth it.

No thanks on Ponder and Gabbert. Some people think that Mike Shanahan was hoping for a losing season in order to get a top QB in the 2012 draft by going with Grossman and Beck. I would have personally liked to have seen GM Bruce Allen push for signing a veteran like Matt Hassleback. But Shanahan wanted Grossman and Beck. As a result, we'll be getting Griffin III or Luck 15 days from now.
