If you have made those investment, a player like Gaffney becomes a possible trade asset, without having to open up a hole in your roster. I just don't see how trading Gaffney or curtting him is the end of the world. Personally, I think it is better for Gaffney if he can go to a place like New England, where he can be a starter almost right away, instead of being in a WR competition here in DC.

@Ruhskins- I'm a Jabar Gaffney fan. That's why I want him to remain a Redskin. I've followed him ever since he was a gamer at Florida. I was excited when we obtained him in a trade with Denver. But if Mike Shanahan feels that the team doesn't need Gaffney now, then I hope he knows what he's doing. Garcon, Hankerson, and Morgan had better produce this year.
