Wait a minute... are you talking about Richmond?

Seriously, I've driven in DC a few times, and just about lost my mind. Richmond's nearly as bad, but begins to make sense (somewhat) after living here for 5 years.

BTW, Summo, that picture kicks ass!

For those who can't see it, try going to User CP--> Edit Options--> Thread Display Options--> Make sure the "Show Images" box is checked.

What makes it so confusing to an out of towner like me is all those angle streets. ie. New Hampshire, Conn Penn ave etc.. As most of you know I live in NY and I visit the Manhattan often and it is real easy to follow, it's just a big grid for the most part all you have to know is that the number streets ending in ave go one direction and the ones ending in st. go in the other.
Another funny thing we found out was our hotel was in the Dupont Circle section of D.C. do any of you know what that is famous for?

LOL, meet any nice guys down there? My brother used to live there and I always had to clarify that he lives there with his wife (and yes, his wife is female)

HA you’re right!! I don't have a problem with that particular genre of people, but I have a 17 yr old son that is in great shape, and he was walking around in a tank top and shorts and to say that the guy's were oggoling (sp) him would be an understatement!! They were just about falling over them selves to say hello to him!! And it was freaking him out.
