Not sure if your joking but if you look at the def for

sanctity [ˈsæŋktɪtɪ]
n pl -ties
1. (Christianity / Ecclesiastical Terms) the condition of being sanctified; holiness
2. anything regarded as sanctified or holy
3. the condition of being inviolable; sacredness the sanctity of marriage
[from Old French saincteté, from Latin sanctitās, from sanctus holy]

Its one god fearing man married to one god fearing woman in the far rights eyes. They tend to ignore the divorce rate and other problems when they talk about how sacred marriage is.
