It's not the patients that have benefits cut, it's the providers. Here's a link from CBS: That myth has been debunked by every major news outlet for the past week. Center, left and right -- they've all clarified and made the point clear. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57494197/romneys-$716b-medicare-cut-attack-is-dubious/ Another article in today's New York Times. Please read this. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/19/op...pagewanted=all It's also a fact, every independent study shows that Medicare's solvency has been increased by 8 years. Again, I think because you want something to be true, then in your mind it's true. That's not how it works, Slingin' |

Never recall referencing Glenn Beck as God? I've got no problem looking in the mirror and refuting campaign garbage from the Obama camp. Perhaps you should have a bit more of an open mind and take a detailed look at the Romney/Ryan plan....but to each his own.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
And just when you thought this campaign was hitting the bottom, someone starts digging:
Toure accusing Romney of racism “That really bothered me.” “You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.” “I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘n*****ization,’” “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.” Dude, you're a race card-playing douche. GTFOOH! |

You can only play those ads so much before their ROI significantly diminishes. I am so glad I don't live in heavily contested states.

I'm sure NoVA is getting hit as bad as we are down here....it's awful, there isn't a commerical break without multiple political ads on most channels.

It's also kind of funny how the election to me has kind of become a sporting event. I won't freak out if Obama is reelected as it won't be nearly as bad as people will have you believe but personally just believe Romney has more potential to get things turned around. In the end though it's pretty fun to watch.
