NFL rookies signing contracts rapidly under new salary system - The Insider - The Washington Post

so instead of 13 signings, we have over 125 (this is a week old) and at least 6 first round picks. some 1st rounders can argue over guaranteed money.

the 5th year option allows a team to keep a 1st rounder for an extra year (paying them average top 10 money at their position if they're a top 10 pick and the average salary of position player #3-#25 if they're pick 11-32).
