Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
I'm sending a polite but strident fan letter to the NFL offices tomorrow. The situation is beyond ridiculous.

I hope that I am not the only one. I think that all Warpathers who are disgusted with the referee situation should send letters of polite outrage.

Thanks for providing that. I think I'm going to take my lunch break to hand write a short letter to The Rog.

Good. They need to be embarrassed. Sad they are greedy pieces of shit that want to squabble over money when they do nothing but sit in a box on Sunday afternoon.

No. I just hate greedy assholes. I have no problem with people being rich, but when there are 10 marbles on the table and you want to grab them all and do less of the work, I have a huge problem with that. I always will. When these guys are willing to risk their future health for their money, then I'll respect them.

And I've watched Angel Hernandez ump baseball games... It was a three ring circus from start to finish, and I can't imagine the NFL isn't meeting secretly right now to try and figure out how to get out of the mess they've created without appearing to cave in and give the real refs everything they want. (which isn't much, it boils down to them not wanting to lose their already earned penchant plans, while being willing to let new hires not have penchants). Greedy nose-despite-face hubris on the part of the rich douche bags who happen to own the golden goose. Last edited by 44 goes 50 gut; 09-18-2012 at 09:25 AM. |

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
I was listening to the game last night on the radio and Boomer Esiason went off on the refs. He was unloading on them, every time he would bashem i would think damn i cant believe he just said that!!! And his partner(I think it was Ian Eagle) would take the high road every time.

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
Let's see what the league's reaction to all the post play altercations are. If they respond with heavy fines on players that were obviously wrong, but no penalty was called, ie the rolling up on Fletcher, then maybe they can impose some sort of calm and order from above. If, on the other hand they just sit with their heads in the sand, this coming week could be even worse. I don't see how that is possible
