The Pats have far superior TEs than we do and still brought in Ballard...for insurance, for playmaking, for whatever. Well, maybe I owe you a better response. First of all, it was pretty damn funny if I say so myself.

Secondly, why didn't we address the TE situation is a fair question. But why didn't we bring in Ballard makes little to no sense with your concerns. Niles Paul is raw, so how does bringing in a TE who can't even play this year help at all? Will that help Paul's development in any way? Why not just work on developing Paul, and why are we casting him aside after one preseason game? Fred Davis is one puff away from a year long suspension. So he's out for this year and so is Ballard, how does that help.

The only argument I can maybe see is Cooley, but again you're talking about bringing in someone who offers us nothing this year. I just don't see why anyone would knock the FO for that
