Is it me, or are there just a ton of injuries to this team this year before they have even played their 2nd preseason game? The Washington Redskins = The Washington Wounded

Injuries all over the league, plenty of teams are worse off.

You have to take them with a grain of salt too. If this was the regular season a lot of these guys would still be ready to play come Sunday. This time of year teams play it safe and sit guys out.

Matty, I hear you, but I'm about to agree with the players. Knock it down to 2 preseason games to get the rust out and figure out who to keep from these other 40+ guys in camp based on practice and scheduled scrimmages with other teams where certian types of hitting or rules are in place to limit the really hard contact. With that being said, our guys are getting hurt in practice not in games.

Hasn't the NFL already greatly reduced OTAs and full-contact practices? For a lot of those bubble players, I don't think 2 preseason games are enough to get a good look.

I'll take the injuries now and not by week 4 of the regular season as was the case last year.

We're in MUCH better shape than most teams. We haven't lost a real star player. Jammal Brown is our biggest-name major injury and that should have been expected.

Kory Lich and Trent are minor, they'll be fine Week 1.

Chargers lost their starting RB Mathews.
Broncos RG Kuper just broke his arm.
Colts LB Angerer broke his foot.
Titans WR Britt still questionable to start the season.
Bears Urlacher just had minor knee scope.
49ers Aldon Smith has some kind of hip injury.
Seahawks WR Sidney Rice hurt his shoulder.
Steelers RB Mendenhall and NT Casey Hampton questionable for Week 1.
Eagles QB Vick hurt his throwing hand, Mike Patterson out indefinitely, Jason Peters out for the year.
Giants have a ton of injuries on D - T. Thomas, Canty, Shaun Rogers.
Saints RB Sproles just did something to his knee.
Cowboys Miles Austin and Mike Jenkins may not be ready Week 1.
Browns RB Trent Richardson is scaring them already.
Ravens Suggs out at least until Week 9.

We've been lucky so far.
