Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Doughty will be on the roster. Despite his lacking coverage skills, he's one of the surest tacklers in the NFL statistically. He rarely misses a tackle.
http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...0%93-safeties/ Tanard Jackson, unfortunately has been one of the worst-tackling safeties in the NFL for 3 years. He's missed 43 tackles in the last 3 seasons, with 114 tackles. Look at that ratio! In 2011, Tanard attempted 57 tackles and missed 24 of them! http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...fensive-backs/ http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...-the-safeties/ Reed's decent as a backup. We've just had to use him as a starter though, a role he's not up for. While looking at stats, D-Hall and Cedric Griffin are two of the better run-stop CBs in the league. http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...e-cornerbacks/ I know Tanard Jackson has some playmaking ability that Doughty lacks, but his tackling stats scare me. I'm hoping someone can really step up to be a solid backup. Whether it's Doughty, Gomes or Barnes, I don't care, but if we're relying on Tanard Jackson to save us, we're going to be cursing a lot this season. He appears to be one of the worst tacklers in the league. Want a laugh? Read this: http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-l...t-tackler.html
