Bengals cleaned up on that one for a guy that wasn't ever going to play for them again.

For as little time as he had to prep he still had almost 300 yards passing a game, just wait till regular season rolls around,he'll be better then you think.

Dez Bryant of Dallas Cowboys to adhere to strict team-mandated guidelines on behavior - ESPN Dallas

Quote:
Sources say some of the rules Bryant must abide are as follows:

• A midnight curfew. If he's going to miss curfew, team officials must know in advance;

• No drinking alcohol.

• He can't attend any strip clubs and can only attend nightclubs if they are approved by the team and he has a security team with him.

• He must attend counseling sessions twice a week.

• A rotating three-man security team will leave one man with Bryant at all times.

• Members of the security team will drive Bryant to practices, games and team functions.

Bryant's adviser, David Wells, will hire the security team for the wide receiver.

Didn't these idiots already try this with Pacman Jones? Having to babysit Dez Bryant is ridiculous.

When you have to go to extreme measures like these for a player, he probably shouldn't be on your team...

What's been kind of nuts is that we've all been crucifying Chad Johnson (and rightfully so) yet all the media can talk about is what kind of year Dez Bryant is going to have. Didn't the guy beat up his mom? Kind of crazy how everyone has forgotten that already.

He's had multiple behavioral problems, yet no suspension? Loooove how subjective that is with the commish.

NFL fans, like any large group of people, are disfunctional and illogical. Chad Johnson gets vilified (unfairly IMO). Yet at the same time, we have a guy who ACTUALLY trashed his own team, insulting his own coaches in an interview right before a playoff game, wouldn't be a team player in a gap control defense that's proven to work, went from "probowl" when we were bad to "less than average" when we were good because he wasn't #1 in the media anymore, and proved he was a ***hole off the field with how he treated his restaurant employees, and Redskins fans just voted him one of our 80 greatest players.

just doesn't go far enough, sometimes.

I didn't want to address that, but I'm on your side on that one.

Anyway, did anyone see any of the Dallas game? I woke up and checked the box score and saw that some guy I'd never heard of had over a hundred yards on 3 (?) catches?! Did they find yet another Laurent Robinson?
