Re: Redskins vs. Saints Gameday Thread

Special teams continues to be an issue. That was piss poor blocking on that blocked punt. Also, why the F are we running from shotgun on 3rd and short? That was a stupid call IMO, you either run it from the I formation or throw a slant. Ugh.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Gameday Thread

I always hear that Danny Smith is a good coach, but is there any evidence of this?

Last year we had the most blocked pats in the history of the universe. Now this garbage.

No excuse for that kind of BS play. These guys better learn you have to play for 60 minutes or they'll have a rude awakening. Come back in the 2nd half and ball your a** off!

Looks like a totally different team. The missed block cost us 7 but hopefully we can put up points on our opening drive of the 2nd half.

Man it'd be nice if we could put up another 20 in the final 2 quarters.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Gameday Thread

RG3 is the individual star, but I'd say the D has carried us so far.

So we need to go back to the screens, and go deep with all the time RG3 is getting?

And keep trying to collapse the pocket from the front on Brees?

Hate blown plays like that but felt offensive play calling was a little more conservative than the previous drives.

The blocked punt aside we're off to a great start. Just gotta keep it going in the 2nd half.

Robinson missed his block, and had a holding penalty on the second return of the game where banks got it to the 45, and we went back to the 12. Sit the rook, and let him learn a lesson.

They showed Sundberg holding his hand talking to Shanny after the play. At least we get it to start the second half.
