I had heard he had another setback on top of things. Makes you wonder about his career.

Well he's getting his knee scoped. When he returns he has said he wants to return to the Skins but we'll see what happens

I just don't see why he wouldn't shred the knee again. Not trying to be a debbie downer, but after one of those big cuts, I just can't see it lasting long.

If pass blocking is a strength, then its actually a really smart signing. Lets slide him in a Right Tackle. Speaking of, any word on that worthless POS Jamal Brown?

We need to protect RGIII. Grant reportedly had an outstanding workout with the Bears and had offers from multiple teams. https://twitter.com/BradBiggs/status/250709952451194880 Quote:

re: Redskins Sign RB Ryan Grant/Place Roy Helu Jr. on IR
About time, I've been calling this for months.
With Roy not being the Helu that we used to know (singing), and Royster also getting banged up a little, we needed another RB in case Morris goes down. We're a run-heavy team...we're going to need more than 3 bodies at HB. Love this move since he's a backup. He's not starter-material any more but for depth, great acquisition.

Nice move, and I'm sure the dolphins still want picks for slaton, so forget that.

re: Redskins Sign RB Ryan Grant/Place Roy Helu Jr. on IR
There must have been something about Slaton health-wise or personal that made that deal fall through. We could have signed him after they waived him too and we declined again.
He was a fumbler too. Had talent and was a beast stat-wise before he was injured and Arian Foster arrived, but he was a fumbler. That's the last thing we need now...we're winning the TO battle every week. It's been ages since that has happened. The RB-desperate Lions worked Slaton out last week and turned him down too. There's a reason no one wants him. I don't know what it is, but there has to be a valid reason he can't make a team any more. He used to be a great back. Everybody forget about Slaton. Our FO did their homework on him.

Chris Clemons will rush for 2,500 yards this year even though he plays defense. That's what happens when Skins go to other teams.

I am also with others on this thread that are wondering who or whom the Skins have cut to make this happen. Anyone know?
