Redskins Sign RB Ryan Grant/Place Roy Helu Jr. on IR

Did Helu even play last week? I remember Royster but not Helu.

Pretty sure Helu had one carry, but heard after the game he was limping pretty heavily.

Pretty sure I hear both names several times. Helu I thought caught several passes. Royster I only heard as running the ball outside. Morris took the ball between the tackle most of the day. And they used Banks on the option.

Normally I don't think signing Grant would make a difference. But Shanahan has a way to get something out of backs that others think of as castaways. Plus Grant has experience running in zone blocking schemes like Mikey uses. Right now I think this could go either way so I'll wait and see how he does before I cast any thoughts.
