Eh they're both great sports. One thing I know for sure is that both forms of football are an acquired taste. If you think about it logically they're both slow paced and they both require a lot of time watching to pick up on the strategy and nuances of the game. If you're not indoctrinated early chances are you won't pick it up and appreciate it later in life.
Which is why Euro's don't usually take well to American football and Americans don't usually fancy soccer. By the way that reminds me. A friend of mine from the UK showed me this. ![]() For the record he's basically the Jon Gruden of sports fans in that he's never seen a sport he didn't like.
