with jackson being allowed to void the final year of his contract, i think he is slated to earn $7M, he has the option to not void it?
if he chooses not to void it, are there any bonuses he stands to earn if the rams delay releasing him? basically i want to know why he would void it, since he's not going to earn $7M anywhere else, and why would he want be the "bad guy" leaving his only pro team. i can understand if there's no bonus/incentive to earn and he wants to hit the market as early as possible. does that make sense?
