Of course I get tired of it. But don't bash just to bash is all I'm saying. Should have gone after a RT. Ok, fair argument. Shouldn't have spent money on Garcon when we could have just held onto Gaffney for another year at a lower price and waited for a better option. Fine. Shanahan saying Griffin was shaken up is a sign of poor management and coaching. Say what? Fisher has totally turned the Rams around and he had to face the powerhouse AFC. Come again?

And I like Fisher and think the Rams have good young talent and can be competitive...but they're five games...FIVE GAMES...into Fisher's tenure and already were throwing a parade for them. Based on what? And Fisher and Shahanan's records over the same period of time are comparable so don't put Fisher on a pedestal and call anyone who even remotely hints at supporting what Shanahan has done an apologist.
I think though that goats and mine and others frustration runs alot deeper than these fice games. Its just that now we are once again seeing a new coach in a new place - a place that has been drafting rite in front of us for a few years starting off 3-1 and here we are 2-3 and in last place. I know its early but its like oh man here it goes again. We have seen this movie before.
Edit: fish and the rams are the new poster boy for the "shit why cant that be us club".

What was Shanny's record starting off in Washington? I remember a few years ago when the Buc's went 10-6 and everyone praised the coaching, and wanted that coach in Washington..

Oh, about that.....

if i said the skins had identical offensive numbers to the saints this year would that make u like shanny more?

28 PPG and 400 YPG. Exact same as N.O. high powered offense

Yes...and no. From the five games we've seen our offense is top of the league when RG3 is the ball carrier on about half our rushing downs. That was pretty much the story in the first three games. The last two games we've gone more traditional, and the points/game regressed, though we still pulled out the win against Tampa. I thought our play-calling was more predictable against Atlanta. That draw play near the goal line for instance was pretty idiotic. Every team knows to key on RG3 now near the goal line. If you keep him back there with a RB in run formation the defense is likely to sniff it out most of the time, and as such we lost yardage on the play.

Admittedly, I've never thought Kyle was a quality OC and I've always said our play-calling gets predictable. It's been better with RG3 but again that goes back to him keeping the pigskin. As the season progresses we'll see if Mike/Kyle can put together series, quarters and games that put up points with the more traditional style, because after a concussion just 5 games in you have to bet they're going to limit RG3's exposure to hits.

...and the kid needs to just throw it away or get outta bounce. I love how hard he tries though...

I am not necessarily hating on shanny. Im hating on the organization in general. I just want to win. I dont care who does it. Im not a gibbs fan im not a zorn fan or a shanny fan or even a rg3 fan. You know why - because one day any of them might be wearing other colors. I will be wearing b&g until i die and ill probably be buried in it. But to answer ur question - no. The saints are 1-4. I just want to win and good teams with good coaches fond a way to win no matter what the rankings say. My fantasy team however has been very happy with rg-3. Im not the doom and gloom guy okie. Im not bashing just to bash SS. I am very positive and keep the critiscism out of the game day threads because there is no place for it there really. My "post game thoughts" i consider realistic though. Win and i will show appreciation. It doesnt mean im a hater. When my kid does bad in school they aint getting a reward. Doesnt mean i hate them though. Doesnt mean im not rooting for them to do better next time.
Ok rants are done for the day.

one question, how did he get the extra picks. one answer, he had a qb who he felt comfortable keeping. so regardless of every other point, fisher didn't spin his wheels trying to get a qb. instead he was comfortable enough that he could trade away a prime pick for future gains. the skins were not in that position...

Absolutely. Seems rare to walk into a franchise with a true franchise QB and in that regard Fisher is lucky. But still, the talent around Bradford was near the bottom of the league. What talent they did have, especially on offense, didn't play up to its potential. Fisher and the Rams had a strong off-season and he's got the team playing far closer to its potential.

I expect the Rams to be able to compete by 2015. Considering their drafts, and the first round picks they'll get from us for the next few years as well as their own, they should be able to contend for playoff births by then.

The Rams will be a dangerous team in the very near future. 3 years from now they might be what the early 1990s Dallas Cowboys were then. I expect them to be a playoff team by the start of the 2015 season. As far as how far they'll go is anyone's guess.

Yeah. And they beat us this season. And with the rookie salary cap those first round picks are a lot more valuable than they were a couple years ago. If I were a Rams fan, I'd feel pretty good about the trade so far. They're probably looking at next draft's pick from us being top ten.

We did get the better QB out of the deal. Shanny making the best of our drafting situation in 2013 like he did in 2011, would help a lot. Becoming a good 3-4 defense (we really weren't that good last season) would be nice too.
