Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
I don't know why people are so high on Kerrigan this game. Yes he had a pick 6 gift-wrapped for him. But he was stymied the whole game, particularly by the Falcons' right tackle. Practically zero pass rush.
Cut. Cunwhiff. Tomorrow. Why couldn't we get the ball to Garcon? Morris is still a beast, and our OL seems great at ZBS this season. Kudos to them and our OL coaches. |

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
Garcon was targeted 7 times, but only caught 3. He was a big reason as to why he didn't perform well. This was my issue with him in Indy. Was inconsistent with his play. RGIII wasn't all that accurate either as he should have been.

Everyone looked really out of sync today on offense

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
They really were. It's a shame to see the defense perform as well as they did, only to have the the offense flop. Is it too much to ask for to have BOTH sides of the ball playing good for a complete game? I'm not greedy, I just want to see it ONE freaking time in over a decade. Quote:
I wouldn't say that. SO far though, he's only earned his money in one game.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
The easy answer is he is still hurt. But he should have made more plays.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
So is it fair to say that this was not a good signing? What about Josh Morgan? I know these guys are blocking their asses off but we didn't bring them here to block. And part of this is on Kyle. We need to start getting these guys the ball more in the mid range passing game.

He has to show more than he did yesterday to be worth the money given. At the same time, it was game 2 of his Redskins career, playing on a bad foot. I, for one, am not ready to write him off just yet. Gaffney? Stallworth? Please. Do we need to go through the YAC analysis, and its importance, AGAIN?
