Kirk Cousins was projected to be a 2nd round pick. How he fell to the 4th round no one knows. Mike Shanahan did the right thing in selecting him. He was too good to pass up when he was available. That's because those in the media are stupid people half of the time. Mike Shanahan knows what he's doing. Rex Grossman is a journeyman quarterback who can be a decent backup, but Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan knows that Grossman won't be around forever. Might as well draft a quarterback. Shanahan took the best one available.

That's human nature to want to talk about a situation or make a situation out to be a much bigger deal than it actually is. That's the media for you.
