We have 4 starters out, and you think we are under performing? You overvalue the talent we have, which is the case with most fans.

IDK why people keep thinking with Orakpo and Carriker our D would some how do much better? our pass D would of been killed and in the rams game we already where giving them big plays. Yes Orakpo had a nice sack against Bradford but other than that it took Brad what 1-2 secs to throw it ? .

Jacksons really the hugest lose IMO and Brandon Meriweather isnt even that good he had a overrated pro-bowl year in NE and thats it. We just dont have the right coaches or players for this D . Now 04-05 where real good defenses.

How exactly do you know whether the loss of Jackon/Meriweather isn't that much? It's hard to say that without them ever playing a single down. Not unless you have some sort of ability to see into another dimension where they are healthy and played the last 6 games.

I think Jackson and Meriweather were upgrades over what we had, but yet still a stop gap until we could find something better.

I'm not saying that Jackson was a wasted signing, but in a way he was. Is he in Washington because Raheem Morris is in Washington or because Bruce Allen drafted him? It's a shame that he's on suspension. Meriweather on the other hand hasn't been healthy all season. He hasn't played 1 game and I don't know if it matters or not if he ever plays this year. I think the Redskins need to DRAFT a couple of safeties next offseason since Jackson can't stop using drugs and Meriweather can't stay healthy.

No arguments there. I think our FO got the "best" FA safeties available during the off-season. It's just a shame that the "best" is still sub par.
