was any money paid or are the ES.com modss going to get any salary etc?

from what i've read they get to go to closed practices, but they have to stand way back from the real reporters, and they also get new servers/hosting provided by the redskins.

Do they get any ad revenue? is that going to go to the skins now since they're hosting it?

I don't really understand the point i guess. If they wanted more interaction, they could host chats and interviews among the various fan sites (or just ES) without needing to "merge"

all that ES is going to get out of this is even more haters and trolls like the tampa bay forums (hosted by the team) get... its just flooded with trash talk.
