Hall has always graded out poorly in coverage, near the bottom of the league in fact. Not sure what anyone really sees in him. In fact, Pro Football Focus has Hall rated as the No. 97 best cornerback out of 102 this season. Ugh.

He has been rated near the worst CB in the league for like 3 years running now. Not to be an ass honestly but those who think he isn't terrible and can't see that he is pretty clearly our worst CB just don't know how to evaluate the position. I'm not sure what they're seeing that makes them think that even sorry-ass C. Griffin isn't better. It baffles me. To be clear I am not saying our other CBs are any good. I am saying that DHall is undoubtedly a lot worse than even them.

There is a point of course where it doesn't matter how bad you are. DHall would be a better CB than say Perry Riley but I bet they'd both get beat just as much...because DHall is ALWAYS beat. You can't be worse than ALWAYS beat.

eh .. thats a piss poor ranking for overall performance IMO .. but thats just like the ranking, an opinion.

I don't think you can identify the No. 1 CB just based on watching their scheme. You'd have to ask coaches, I've heard he is viewed as the third CB. Maybe someone else can chime in. Wilson isn't great for sure, but his coverage is better then Hall.

An opinion based on someone watching and breaking his play down. Far more than most are probably doing here, and more objectively too.

I was hoping for a bit more insight on the cap thing, but its good to know that it isn't dead yet.
