Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not)

I think they should relieve Haslett of his post, but I don't believe Shanahan will. While the injuries have been bad, let's not forget that Meriweather and T-Jax were marginal players brought in to compete for a starting role. Everyone pretty much knew the secondary was a weak link even before the injuries and suspension. Orakpo's absence has been detrimental, as has Carriker's, but doesn't fully explain being one of the worst defenses in the league. Potentially one of the worst pass defenses in NFL history.

In my opinion, it's almost always better to make a move sooner than later, and especially now that the team is in a state of turmoil bordering on dysfuntionality. I just can't see how Haslett will be the D-coordinator next year, and prolonging the agony only adds further insult to all involved. This is an explosive situation that likely will worsen as the season goes on in my opinion.
