Translation: My mancrush for the Jets is at a all-time high with Sanchez and Tebow on the same team!! ![]() Seriously though, I think some key things to remember when you have people with inside information in your midst. 1) Respect their privacy. Don't ask them who they are or how they know. Either take the info or don't. 2) Understand the intel they give at the time is accurate. It may not be in 1 hour or 5 days, but it's accurate at the time given. The NFL is so fluid and ever changing that what is a sure fire trade (or signing) now, might not happen at a later time. Seen too many insiders get blasted b/c their intel didn't come to fruition. I call these people, ****ing idiots. 3) Give them their space. If they want to give intel, they will. If not, they won't. No need to hound them via PMs to get the scoop. If they want to say it, they will do so on the boards. 4) Appreciate it. It's that simple. A simple.....Hey thanks smoot for dropping the 411!!". Smoot, hang around guy. Even if you decide not to give out info anymore. We need somebody to counter the Crazy Canuck.
