The intent here is to hurt. The launching of his body at the opponent's head. The forearm and extension upon impact. Not knowing or understanding the rules is no excuse at all. He hits people all the time. Had he done that to a QB, he knows he would have gotten at suspension for it.

I won't. He's a great player, just made a mistake. Let's not act like he is Pac-Man. Before his suspension he was a legit late 1st early 2nd round pick. If he is there in round 3 or 4 which I believe he will be I pull that trigger.

Made "a" mistake? Are you kidding me?....lol He's made about 4-5 now if you are keeping score at home. He's a "great" player in college. He won't be a great CB in the NFL. At best, he'll be a SS in the league, but certainly not a CB.

I have him as a SS in the NFL, and yes he made a mistake. Shit happens. The kid can play. Simple as that, if you don't wanna take a 3rd/4th round "gamble" that is fine, but players in the NFL have done much worse and weren't crucified for it. So why are we throwing stones at Mathieu?
