Props to all of the players who have played hurt.

London Fletcher - Can't keep him off the field.
Trent Williams - He has been gutting it out for weeks.
Pierre Garcon - His courageous performances mean so much to the team.

I'm sure there are many more injuries we don't even know about.

Also, props to DeAngelo Hall who is on crutches and yet he is vowing to play against the Ravems this week. I'd bet on him.

Dude runs hard between the tackles, good blocker, and has nice hands out the backfield. He's a keeper for sho.

My choice is Dan Snyder:

Doesn't throw a pass or make a tackle, but, he's finally seen the light and backed the hell away from football related things and let the football guys do what their paid to do.

My other choice is, oddly, Mike Shannahan:

He has made some very questionable moves, bad coaching decisions, and overall, seems like kind of a jerk honestly (at least that is the book on him from several former players) Had serious doubts about his personnel acumen/decisions as well. However, whether or not he wins a SuperBowl in Washington, he has clearly changed the culture of this team. We could miss the playoffs this year however, I would be the first to give him props for making this team a REAL football team again. We are once again relevant, a few years from dominant, but very damn relevant. His selection of RG3 was great but the way he has put his ego aside and do what RG3 does well, is most telling of what Mike's legacy will be here. Almost forgot, it seems, as much crap as he has taken in terms of personnel, we actually are beginning to see the makings of serious depth. We have a lot of second string guys out there getting valuable playing time due to injury, which, in time, will mean excellent depth. Also, most of the free agent signings appear to be panning out.

My last choice...please don't stone me...Jim Haslett:

Is he the best 3-4 guy out there...nope. Would I rather have someone else...yep. But, it would be crazy to not give him props for having kept the defense together after it was ravaged by injury. Late round draft picks are getting meaningful playing time and contributing. They may not be the most talented bunch but the biggest things I've noticed is that they are playing with passion!!! They are doing the best they can do and seem to really fight game in, game out. He seems to be evolving in terms of the blitz packages as well. Not consistent pressure but timely pressure, lately, he's made some damn good play calls in some key situations.

I would give it to Trent Williams. He's playing hurt yet still playing at a Pro Bowl level. Also it looks like we finally have a freakin kicker.

Paulsen is ok, but thats it IMO . . . last week he had 2 BAD penalties and 2 drops . . . he played horrible . . . notice it was Cooley that made the great block to open the lane for morris on that last play too . . .

Which is why he is always one of the first Redskins players to volunteer whenever the organization is looking for people to participate in community outreach events.

"I just think back to my childhood and can't help but believe if we had a professional athlete or someone successful come back and talk to us, maybe that could have been enough to save my best friend's life or keep my other friend out of jail and prevented him from becoming a crackhead before we even got to high school," he said. "That's what makes me do what I do as far as giving back to the community."

The fact that this thread even exists is a testament to how much more talent we have on this team than we've had in previous years. We're loaded with offensive talent. Its a nice feeling to root for a team thats actually good.

It took people awhile to realize that we do have some good receivers (they are young). Many here kept saying our receivers suck, go get so and so, blah, blah, blah. Patience, it takes time to develop the young guys. Same goes for our RB's, I still have faith in Royster and Helu.

...and you forgot to mention all the huge plays he came up with? He had a drop in the Giants game, and turned around and made a incredible play to follow that up with diving and stretching the ball out for the first. (which was then won on a challenge by Mike)


C'mon man. Paulsen is a 3rd string TE out there moving the chains, and making huge plays when we need them. Sure he's no Fred Davis, but he's done more than I ever expected from him. He was contributing quite a bit when Garcon was out. (and he was starting) More than Niles Paul was, that much is sure. Nobody is saying he's a pro-bowler.
