Re: School Shooting In Connecticut
I'll have to say when we went to the movies Saturday I got an erie feeling sitting there and made notes of the exit signs. Today my wife was crying after dropping our daughter off at school.

Really is sad. Often times I feel for the families, but it doesn't really 'affect' me or my day to day. Even as an individual without kids, I can't fathom dropping your child off at elementary school, and not picking them back up. That is absolutely unreal to me. I don't know if I can think of a worse atrocity than killing innocent children in a school. I know people say they wouldn't give their children access to their guns, etc. Keep in mind, this guy was 20. Most 20 year olds have access to everything in the house, etc. We're not talking about a 12 year old getting access to the safe. Something seems really off with this family.

I can't change what happened but it is my sincere hope that each of the parents got the opportunity to say good-bye and give their child a hug that morning. It's not much of a wish, but one I hope is true nonetheless. I swear, I cannot think of this tragedy without tearing up. My daughter turns six in a month. I can't look at the pictures of the murdered kids b/c I would see her in every picture.
