His whole unit is standing up for a 3rd stringer that has barely played and was out of the league for a year. No one said a word about TJ or Cedric.

So I don't think it's naïveté at all

Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell just has a hardon to suspend someone after what Taglibue did. I'm really looking forward to see what Compton can do though. Hopefully this turns into a blessing in disquise.
