He just recently had a kid and is just now coming along as a starting caliber OLB on our team. He has the leverage right now in contract situations. He is young too. I could easily see him leaving us for more money and starting a new somewhere else come next offseason. Other option is trading Orakpo. But at OLB its about who gets more pressure and more sacks, and we know how much better this team can be with Orakpo in terms of getting to the QB than with Rob Jackson whom keep in mind just started coming along the past 4-5 games. Big decisions will have to be made come the offseason with one of the two players, and I have a feeling it'll be Jackson who will be to much to resign for us and playing somewhere else next year.

Agree on Jackson just damn glad to have to make these kinds of decisions. Having too much talent to keep all of it is a good place to be in for us.

Yeah but if you don't replace the good talent that leaves with someone able to fill the hole left, you end up like the Chargers. Unless someone offers us a great trade Orakpo should be back next year, but I think we all know Orakpo is nowhere near as good in coverage as Jackson is. And Jackson does a decent job rushing the passer too. I just hope if Jackson leaves we can plug in someone else and still have good depth.
