Why would he want to retire from coaching? And we certainly couldn't fire him and promote Kyle. At some point, Kyle is going to leave and be a head coach somewhere else. I just hope he grooms his replacement before he goes. I'm not comfortable with mike shanahan being head coach and play caller.

I see what your saying and makes sense but, if Mike can get a SB in the next 2 years he may want to go out on top. That was my thinking. Some variables involved... but definitely incentive for Kyle to hang around awhile.
