I have a feeling they may wait to extend Shahanan. He has another 2 seasons remaining on his contract. But if they void those two years and give him another deal then I wouldn't be surprised either.

LOL. Just pointing out that this is something that's being discussed since before the Redskins clinched on Sunday. I think I told the other mods about it maybe a couple of weeks before I posted it here? Think it was around Thanksgiving that I first started hearing some true rumblings about this

They were thinking about it around Thanksgiving? We weren't even at .500 at that point. I find that sort of strange to begin extension talks given Shanny's career win-loss record with the Skins, and the fact that they had no clue of the impending 6 game win streak. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they are doing it, but given the record at Thanksgiving, I would have said, lets see how next year goes...

I guess we wanted him on the cheap?
