Well it wouldnt be a problem if I cant blame Snyder for it. He shoulda never thought RG3 could stay in.

Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...

I'm saying right now look at the freeze-frame pictures from the two injuries to the knee last night...

That knee is severely, severely injured... far more than a "sprain," obviously.

Also... Can we PLEASE stop saying Adrian Peterson around here... Out of the 1,000s and 1,000s of ACL tears, he came back BY-FAR the fastest ever. And now, EVERYONE is EXPECTED to be back 100% in 8 months??

BEST CASE scenario, RG3 will be out until October-November, minimum, and we all have to know by now that the Redskins will NOT let him step on the football field until he is 101% healed... right??

This ACL/PCL/LCL combination will be more like Tom Brady... not AP.

This is not being overly dramatic... this is being sensible and reasonable.

(Will refer back to this post at a later date... lol)

So you want the entire fanbase to simply ignore one of the biggest blunders this organization has ever produced? Yes, I think not pulling your star QB (whom you just gave up the farm for) when it was evident he was injured and ineffective is one of the bigger blunders I've seen to date with this organization. First would be hiring Vinny.

Nobody gave a damn about Leslie Frazier pulling Ponder for a injury. Nobody. Not a single peep. Sure they lost, but I don't blame Frazier for not starting Ponder.

This isn't a hindsight issue. This is a complete failure on the part of our medical staff and our coaching staff. There are no two ways about it. No hindsight bullshit either...this isn't a hindsight issue.

come on bro, nobody gave a shit about Frazier pulling Ponder because he sucks and just hands it to AP. RG3 PLAYED THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND WE WON. WTF are you talking about. He landed weirdly trying to get that bad snap and yes he was hindered but we were winning that damn game for most of the day. Don't compare FRAZIER/PONDER/WEBB TO SHANNY/RG3/KIRK COUSINS

What's the point of the blame game? In the end, RG3 is the one that knows how he feels and what he is capable/not capable of doing. Doctors are not going to have an MRI/X-Rays right then and there to fully say what is going on. Hell, we don't even now after an MRI no one knows what's going on. Shanahan's needs to worry about now what to do without RG3 in the near future. And RG3 needs to learn from this, get better, and move on.

You cannot listen to a player in regards to a injury. He could have had a broken spine and still been begging to get in the game. That's how they are. This decision is up to a medical staff and coaching staff. C'mon man, it was obvious this guy should not have been playing. You don't need a medical degree or even stay at a Holiday Inn Express to saw that. Some things are just blatantly obvious. That was one of them.

Again, I think after this, those duties should be stripped from Shanahan and put on the world renowned doctor they've hired.

Grant Paulsen ‏@granthpaulsen

Mike Shanahan said he didn't speak to the doctors between Robert Griffin's 1st quarter re-aggravation & when the QB came back into game.

^^See...this shit is a problem. A huge problem.

I am sure everyone involved has learned their lesson. Shanny is not perfect, nor is RG3. The blame game is not going to fix RG3's knee or get us back in the playoffs. Coaches/players gamble with these decisions all the time. Heck, I've heard that Garcon's injury could have come back at any time. Not the same context, but I am just saying that these do or die decisions happen all the time.

Had RG3 finished the game and won (with similar health results), we'd be praising them for bravery and guts.

Has anyone made any statement on the " stability " of the knee ? I assume they did some manual movement " test " before he walked off the field ? Wishing the best , Mr. Griffen is a very impressive young man , so glad he is on our team !

Only a Dallas fan would start a thread hoping that their rival QB would be out 14-18 months

Coming soon, artificial knee.

There sure is a lot of hullabaloo. I sure hope this is more hype than it sounds because by the way everyone's talking it makes it seem like the guy's career is over.

This HTTR24_7 guy sounds like an attention whore.

Snyder just invested half the world in this kid, he's going to be interested in protecting his investment.

I can't wait for the report to come out just so we can stop this insane cliff-jumping every time someone touches their keyboard.

I think worst case is an infection where he loses his leg and dies.
