I don't know, but I am pretty sure the league has pretty stringent reporting rules. The level of conspiracy to make this true would be mind boggling, a well respected coach would have to put his career on the line, a world reknowned surgeon would have to put his career and reputation among all the sports world at risk, an owner and front office that is still suffering from a 36 million dollar cap penalty would have to put a storied franchise at risk. granted it may be martian dirt on fedex field but I doubt even sarcastic rover could find truth to this story.

Who the f*ck cares what happened, he needs to heal up and get back on the field. In the meantime, Shanahan needs to figure out what to do with RG3 out. Honestly, people need to stop paying attention to all of these amateur insiders IMO.

I care because RG3 gave his fans, his coaches, and his team everything he had and the people who are supposed to protect him (coaches, doctors) failed him in return! Most people on here have a sick feeling in their stomach about the way this was handled and there will be repercussions to follow. Count on it!

My beef is that it happened twice, after the Ngata hit he went back on the field limping until he finally collapsed. Yesterday it was basically the same shit. Who do you trust? The report about Dr. Andrews before the game, this is our franchise player not John Beck.

even if it was John Beck all the player safety issues make this a serious deal if it is true. You're compromising the integrity of the game.

I know, I know, nobody deserves that. All I keep thinking is seeing poor Earl Campbell on a Walker and don't want see RGIII end up like that.

RG3 is not a mentally retarded 5-year old kid here, he is also responsible. So what if that is all true, what is that going to do? Is RG3 going to miraculously get healed b/c he may have damaged his knee before yesterday? As I've said before, a lot of people f'ed up and they are paying for it. Now everyone, including RG3, need to fix this mess.

No, RG3 is pretty much fckd. It will be a long recovery. As for the mess... Gotta wait for all the fallout. Redskins waited a long time for RG3 as the news breaks people will be calling for answers and it could get ugly for the Org.

But, I agree with what you are saying... Lets get it fixed.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but after years of f*cked up decisions by this organizations, this poor decision by Shanny/RG3/The Team is not as bad as all the f*ck ups we've seen before.

Totally agree RG3 has some blame in this, if in fact these rumors are true.

I would imagine his father has some blame too then. He pushes RG III to be great and some of the toughness he displays is his desire to not leave until he can't walk. That is an army attitude.

Blame them all and fire them all. lol

It seems like you are going off worse cased media speculations, all of which to me are founded on a misspeak by shanahan and appearance driven guesses. Maybe it is all true and the Redskins Watergate is about to unfold in which case there will definitely be tons of fallout for everyone involved (cue Mara licking his chops), but can't we just wait a day or two before writing the epitaph for the 2013 and beyond redskins?
