Punch It In, you do have a point, but when Cap'n Kirk did go in, he went 4-11 (or was it 10?) and something like 30-odd yards. Can we PLEASE give the Number 1 defense in the league some credit here, too?

And I'm sorry, I have no problem with Shanahan giving the guy who carried the team to the playoffs the opportunity to try and work it out through the pain and find a way to win. I just don't.

That said, screw the 'Hawks now. I like Wilson and can't even root for him any more because of how dirty those effers played last night. They have been upgraded to Cowpoke- and Iggles-level hate. Eff them.

By the time Kirk got in it was way too late,you cant go there,there was no hope at that point,not to mention the bad snaps he got and extreme pressure in his face
So if Grif misses 2013 your still ok with this?

They were only down ten. There were 7 minutes left on the clock. I don't buy that there wasn't any hope, and think it's a disservice to the facts when we ignore just how good their Defense is.

I don't think that happens. I think at this point no one knows. I think at this point everyone is assuming the worst, and it's magnified because they lost.

But let's just assume it's the worst for the sake of argument. Adrian Peterson blew out his knee at FedEx on 24 December 2011 and everyone wrote him off as done. Yet these type of injuries aren't what they were ten years ago and Robert's work ethic is just as intense and serious as Peterson's, so I see no reason why he can't recover completely and be back next season the same as Peterson.

So yes, I'm fine with it.

Thats why I thought there was no hope,to expect cousins to come in and that late and expect him to pull it out would be a miracle,but then you qoute his stats like they meant something,they were meaningless.He had bad snaps,dropped passes,intense pressure.
