Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
Its simple. If you have an injury and the recovery time is 12 months minimum, then you can easily say he won't be healed in 8 months. At this point, we dont officially know the diagnosis or prognosis, so its all speculation. However, recovery times are generally pretty well-established. Adrian Peterson was an incredibly rare exception.

And Terrell Suggs after he tore his achillies in May. Hopefully Griffin will be an incredibly rare exception too.

Wes Welker had a quick turnaround from his ACL injury too. Injured in the last game of the '09-'10 season, was back for the season opener in 2011 and caught 122 balls.

He's done it before too. Now, in terms of how possible it is to come back from two ACL tears, I don't know those stats, but here are Griffin's stats from the year he tore his ACL, and the year right after:
passing 2009 45 69 65.2 481 7.0 8.1 4 0 142.9 2010 304 454 67.0 3501 7.7 7.9 22 8 144.2 Rushing 2009 27 77 2.9 2 0 0 0 27 77 2.9 2 2010 149 635 4.3 8 1 9 9.0 0 150 644 4.3 8 I know stats always format ugly, so here is the link if anyone wants to see the formatted version: Robert Griffin III Stats | College Football at Sports-Reference.com |

Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
as someone else said, he went down in the 3rd game (out of 12) so he had the whole season basically, plus the off-season. The real question, which I doubt we could get an answer to, is when did he and his coaches know he was back and good to go.
