Were they suppose to take a TV time out while Dr. James cut him open on the field?
I just can't believe all of the media attention this is getting. I'm going to take a guess that a lot of coaches would have done the same thing MS did. If your potential rookie of the year QB says he can play then he's going back out there. It backfired and both MS and RG3 will learn from this. We're not talking about Jeff George and Old Ball Coach.

I think it's simple: people love him. He's a great kid, you can't really say anything bad about him except, perhaps, that he is fearless to a fault. Smart, driven, a sensation on and off the field in terms of character and poise. He's money. He's Showtime. He's got the "it" factor to the nth power.

And those people who love him are worried about him.

Like us.

He's going to play football again. And Gaea-willing, he will have finally learned the proper respect (not fear, because I don't think his heart pumps kool-aid so he has no idea what it is) for what he faces on the field and how important he is to this franchise and will stop taking the risks he takes.

It's football. It's a tough sport and guys get hurt all time. The media needs to let it go and so do the fans. He's going to be fine come Sept. If he's not, Cousins will step in and play well.

Yes, I agree with you. This is football. He's going to heal up and he will play football again.

I'm just pontificating on the why. Same thing happened with Strasburg. With Rivers. With Cutler. Can't make people let it go, especially when people are invested emotionally. It is what it is.
