Totally premature to talk IR with Robert at this point. I think PUP is more likely. He misses 6 games, which would suck, but with a 100% healthy roster heading into the regular season and potentially that $18M back in cap money, we could be okay with Cousins at the helm for 3/8ths of the year.

I just hope priority 1 is to err on the side of caution with Robert moving forward. Fortunately he's a 22 year old world-class athlete with the best docs in the world at his disposal.

We wouldn't IR him until we had to. I just don't trust Robert to be truthful with the team and doctors about how he really feels, and I don't trust the team to not take Robert at his word.

I've never heard of a complete tear being 'better' than a partial tear...

Also here is a little background on the man who will be fixing RG3.
