There's nothing to really argue, Brady has 3 rings been to 5 superbowls and owns Manning head to head.

I hate using head to head comparisons for quarterback. To many other factors in a game to use head to head matchups. But they are both the greatest quarterbacks of this past era. Great game on tv.

Timmy Smith is a better running back than Barry Sanders.

Tom Brady was the centerpiece of teams that won superbowl. Not a fair comparison at all. Anyways, Thomas with another OT killer?

Nope. He has more super bowls therefore he's better. John Riggins too.

What I am saying is there is a difference between being the main guy and the reason your team wins a superbowl versus some one who is along for the ride. Similar to Michael Jordan vs Robert Horry.

I understand what you are saying, I'm just saying you can't use super bowl rings as a decider between two players, but say it's invalid in another case of comparing two people. I'm going to let you all think about how retarded that logic is. Teams win super bowls, not players. If Brady and Manning had equal teams, you might would have a point. Fact is, they didn't. Never have. Patriots defense and Vinateri are a huge reason to that success. In fact, if it wasn't for Vinateri, you can take away 2 of those Super Bowls.

Peyton Manning lost a lot of those playoff games due to poor play. Peyton Manning had talented offenses with potential hall of famers all around. You could argue that Peyton Manning put his teams in terrible positions for a lot of those games. In his superbowl run he threw 7 interceptions to 4 touchdowns... To me its like comparing a great post season player vs a great regular season player.
